Cannabis (Depressant/Hallucinogenic)

Class B although the Govt are proposing to reduce it to a Class C drug.

It is still illegal to use or possess cannabis.

Other Names: Dope, Grass, Blow, Spliff, Ganja, Hash, Pot, Joint, Weed, Draw.

Description: Resin – Brownish blocks. Herbal – Dried Leaves. Oil.

How is it used?: Smoked with tobacco or pipe. Eaten or Drank.

How long does it last?: Several hours. Continued smoking will have continued effect.

Effects?: More aware of sight and sound, time seems to pass slower, people become more relaxed, talkative and cheerful. Nausea, paranoia, anxiety. Slows up reaction times.

Long term problems?: Lethargic, short term memory loss, paranoia. Risk of cancer and heart disease through smoking.
