Discrimination in the workplace
It is against the law for an employer to discriminate against someone because of their:

> disability

What is Hate Crime?
If you have been the victim of crime and you or another perceive it to be because of your difference, this is 'hate crime'.
It is important that you always report incidents of hate crime to the police you can do this on the internet if you don't want to use the phone, or go into a police station:

Racism and Sexism
> Racism and sexual discrimination can take place in all sorts of situations and ways.
> Sometimes it is verbal comments or jokes, other times it can go much further and result in a person being victimised because of their racial origin or their sex.
> People often feel that they should accept certain situations in order to get on. This is not the case.
