The Age of Consent - Heterosexuality

> It is illegal for a boy or man to have sex with a girl who is under 16 – even if she agrees.
> Girls cannot generally be prosecuted for having a sexual relationship whatever their age.
> However, sexual activity by girls under 16, and even by those of 16 or 17 if this is considered to be “promiscuous”, can be used as a reason for taking a girl into care.
> Sexual offences against girls under 13 are considered to be much more serious and therefore incur a heavier penalty.

Good Sex = Healthy Sex

Having a healthy sex life doesn’t just mean having a good sex life. Staying healthy whilst enjoying sex has become more important than ever, because diseases which are caught through sex have become more common. A new relationship, or a number of partners, can put your health at risk, so it’s important to know how to prevent infection and what to do if you suspect you may be infected.

Healthier Sex
