Parents and Carers Information

Connexions Surrey is the organisation that provides information, advice and guidance on any issues that affect young people’s lives.

We are a ‘statutory agency’ set up by the government to ensure that every young person aged 13 to 19 (or up to 25 for young people with special needs) in Surrey has the right to access the support they might need. You will find details of the extent of the services we offer young people in this website.

Our founding principles are that;

• Young people should be able to get support wherever they are and whenever they want it. This website includes details of many different ways of contacting Connexions.
• Our service should be free and confidential.
• Our service is delivered by trained professional practitioners.
• Young people should have the chance to say what they think about the service, and to influence the way it is provided.

If you are the parent or guardian of a young person, Connexions Surrey wants you to be aware of the services that are available to your children – and to you. Please make use of Connexions Surrey – we’re here to help you.
